With Helton a permanent fixture between the Porto sticks to such an extent he is club captain, Pawel Kieszek probably knew a long spell of bench-warming lay ahead of him with he signed for the Dragons back in July. His plan was to sit tight – quite literally – and eventually seize whatever opportunities came his way in the hope of overtaking the much more established Brazilian in the pecking order. Well, his chance did come when he was given a start in Porto’s tie with Nacional in the Portuguese League Cup. Sadly, it looks like the chance has slipped out of his grasp – much like the cross in the below video.
